This project brought together the kitchen, entryway, bathroom, pantry, and dry bar to create a cohesive, elevated look throughout the home. The goal was to combine timeless design with thoughtful functionality, resulting in spaces that feel bright, refined, and purpose-built for everyday living. We were happy to partner with Olivia Hanzel of Reliv Design to create this beautiful space for our clients. 

A Custom Kitchen Designed for the Way You Live:


The kitchen became the centerpiece of the remodel, featuring custom cabinetry, chef-grade appliances, and quartz countertops paired with a matching quartz backsplash for a clean, seamless appearance. Appliance panels were integrated into the cabinetry to create a cohesive built-in look, allowing the appliances to blend beautifully into the overall design.

Warm gold accents add a sophisticated contrast to the light cabinetry, while a new lighting layout enhances both the atmosphere and functionality of the space. In-cabinet and undercabinet lighting provide layered illumination, making it easier to work while adding a subtle glow throughout the kitchen.

Functionality was considered down to the details. A pop-up outlet was incorporated into the island to provide convenient access to power without disrupting the countertop's clean lines, while a pot filler above the range adds another layer of convenience for everyday cooking.

Beyond the kitchen, the remodel extended into several adjoining spaces, allowing the design details and finishes to flow naturally throughout the home.

The pantry was upgraded with new cabinetry, countertops, and tile, transforming it into a highly functional storage space that complements the main kitchen.

The dry bar was completely refreshed with cabinetry and countertops that coordinate with the kitchen, along with a tile backsplash that adds texture and visual interest. The result is a dedicated entertaining space that feels like a natural extension of the kitchen rather than a separate room.

In the entryway, a new custom entry bench provides both seating and functionality, while new tile creates a durable and welcoming first impression.

The bathroom received a fresh new look with updated tile, bringing the space in line with the clean, sophisticated aesthetic established throughout the remodel.

From custom cabinetry and integrated appliances to layered lighting and carefully coordinated materials, every element of this remodel was selected with both aesthetics and function in mind. The finished home feels cohesive from room to room while still giving each space its own purpose.

The result is a polished, timeless renovation that elevates the everyday experience—from preparing a meal in the new chef-inspired kitchen to entertaining at the dry bar and coming home to a beautifully finished entryway.

This kitchen was completely transformed from a darker, more dimly lit room, to a bright and airy space. 

We completely gutted the room and added all new insulation and sheet rock. Two-tone custom cabinetry was installed along with a beautiful quartz countertop. Floating shelves were installed for a coffee nook and beautiful modern style subway tiles were installed along with a corresponding marble accent at the range. 

Hardwood flooring finished naturally helps to complete the space along with matte white, GE café appliances. The homeowner selected various metal finishes to round out the space which included brushed gold for the cabinet hardware, brushed gold for the lighting fixtures and refrigerator handles, and polished nickel for the faucet.

We remodeled an original 1971 Kitchen and Family room to provide modern amenities and fit the family's lifestyle. This was an enjoyable challenge as we had to incorporate the French countryside, Southern California, and historic New England into the project. 

The 1st floor kitchen laundry was moved to the basement to allow for a beautiful floor to ceiling double pantry. A peninsula with upper cabinets and a half wall were removed opening the kitchen to the family room. A double slider on the back wall of the kitchen was removed and replaced with a double-hung window (matching the rest of the house) to allow for more cabinet and counter space. Live edge walnut shelves were sanded, finished with 4 coats of polyurethane, and installed between upper cabinets. 

There are many fine details in the kitchen including the lighting and tile layouts as well as the cook top bump out. New oak floors were installed to match the existing flooring. 

The family room consisted of four walls of dark stained, pine, tongue and groove paneling. This paneling was removed from the front and back walls to open up the room. The gable wall paneling remained and was sanded, primed, caulked, and painted. A new fireplace door was installed as well as a new closet door. An in-wall AC unit was removed and sealed up. 

The exterior aluminum wood grain siding used to fill in the AC unit as well as the sliding door was an exact match. Cedar faux beams were installed and stained and the room was trimmed using 1 by flat stock material. The entire first floor was painted and the floors finished using a stain and latex polyurethane.

We are very proud of the end result of this project. The project consisted of a kitchen/eating area remodel along with tying in a remodel of an attached family room. Both rooms were gutted to the studs. Plumbing and electrical issues were corrected and new insulation was installed. 

New cabinets were installed with beautiful counter tops. The challenge of the cabinets was transitioning from the kitchen to the step down eating area, which was added on to the house in the 90's. The beam presented the biggest challenge. We came up with the idea to terminate the crown molding into the upper cabinet next to the beam while lowering the cabinets under the beam and having them built with an angle to transition around the corner. 

We designed the counter height to maintain the same plane in the eating area thus making the cabinets taller in that space. We custom built the fireplace surround to match the cabinet design. A pass through opening from the family room to the kitchen was created along with the entryway to look as if it had been originally built that way. 

The family room floor and ceiling height differed from the kitchen thus making it quite challenging to come up with a solution that looked original to the house and was aesthetically pleasing. The end result is a gorgeous and highly functional space.
